1 Corinthians 1:18-25 / In Paul’s letter he recently addressed the disunity found among the believers in the church in Corinth. Today we find him uncovering the source of such disunity - human and worldly wisdom that makes the cross of Christ foolish. But what man call’s foolish, God calls wise and so we learn today how to live in the power of God’s wisdom.

1 Corinthians 1:10-18 / In Paul’s letter to the church of Corinth, he begins addressing some of the specific issues that exist, namely divisions among the members. In todays sermon we take the time to consider how to have biblical unity in our church family and how to avoid some common pitfalls of division.

1 Corinthians 1:1-9 / As Paul opens his letter to Corinth, he begins with a cordial introduction. He is kind and generous in his acknowledgements but also strategic. Paul uses his greeting to lay the groundwork for the whole of the letter and to remind the church of some very important truths that perhaps they may have forgotten.
